The cinema at the Cultural Innovation Centre El Almacén takes off this afternoon, screening the 85 short films that are part of the Official Section of the 17th Lanzarote International Film Festival. 100 metros, the movie introduced by the filmmaker from Barcelona on Friday 21st April (21:00) in Teatro el Salinero, is based on Ramón Arroyo’s true story, a 32-year-old man who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Whilst filming La vida inesperada, Beatriz Bodegas met Raúl Arévalo. Their collaboration started there and then. The actor had been writing and rewriting a script, and he had asked other colleagues to read it. As soon as Bea read it, she wanted to produce the movie.
