Due to the current situation of alert caused by COVID-19, from the Lanzarote International Film Festival we regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone the 20th edition of the festival that was due to take place in May, until further notice. Thanks to the stayhome initiative, we can work from home and inform the hundreds of participants who have placed their trust in our Festival to represent their work. The film industry is fully aware of the fact that there are thousands of people involved who make all of this possible, THANK YOU. Now more than ever, we hope that films can be used as a positive psychological resource during confinement. Audiovisual material can be enjoyed by families, and should be used responsibly as a social way of interaction.
We shall soon see each other again, we must work together now more than ever, regards to everyone.
