Manuel Castillo Huber

He is an actor, director and teacher born in Munich, of German-Chilean background, who lives in Madrid since 2004. He was taught by Fernando Piernas, Consuelo Trujillo, Ramón Salazar, Hernan Gené, Ana Vázquez and Mark Wakeling, among others. He took part in Sunday’s Illness by Ramón Salazar, film that premiered in the Berlinale and Tribeca film festivals in 2018, which was awarded a Goya for Best Leading Actress in 2019.

In 2015, he moved to Los Angeles to keep learning performance ‘Meisner’ techniques with his professor Ranjiv Perera in ‘The Sanford Meisner Centre’. He teaches for actors in Spain and Chile, with the help of his master Ranjiv Perera.
