He was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1975. He has a Masters in Professional Photography, and he has also studied with the most outstanding national and international photography professionals, in different disciplines such as portrait, photographic trial photographic book editing and architectural photography.
He started up with his first filming photographs in 2007, in Mararía, filmed in Lanzarote and directed by his uncle Antonio José Betancor. He went on to collaborate in national film and advertising productions in Madrid. His many Still Photo and Making Of projects include Qué te juegas, by Inés de León 2018, Perdida, by Alejandro Montiel 2018, Phoenix-Terminator 6 by Tim Miller 2019, the TV series La Sala, by Forta for HBO Spain, and Nadie quiere la Noche, by Isabel Coixet 2015.
His artistic work is included in several private collections and the Fundación Mapfre collection, as well as the collection of the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (CAAM).
