Synopsis: Snow, sweat, testosterone and the sound of chainsaws. Every four years wood is being cut on a steep mountain above Lake Ägeri and prepared for log rafting. Neither economical progress nor technology has been able to replace this traditional and sustainable craft in Switzerland.

Director’s bio-filmography:

Thomas Horat was born in Switzerland in 1964. He owns the production company Mythenfilm. He works as a sound technician, director, producer and distributor.

Corina Schwingruber was born in Switzerland in 1981. She studied at the Fine Arts University in Belgrade. Since 2010, she has worked as an independent filmmaker and film editor.
