Miguel Mota was born in Lanzarote. After being part of the theatre group Regartija, he moved to Madrid in 1989 and studied drama in Zulema Katz’ Estudio 3. He finished his training doing singing, dubbing and clown courses, through the Actors’ Union. His professional path started in theatre with directors such as Pepe Ortega, Rosa García Rodero and Carles Alfaro. He co-starred in children’s programme Cyberclub, Telemadrid and began to take part in well-known TV series like “Aida”, “Amar en tiempos revueltos”, “Gran Hotel”, “Los misterios de Laura”, “Hospital Central”, “El ministerio del tiempo”, “Servir y Proteger”, “Centro Médico” and “Las chicas del cable”. In film, he has worked under the direction of Gerardo Herrero in “Que parezca un accidente”, Félix Sabroso and Dunia Ayaso in “Perdona bonita pero Lucas me quería a mí” and Juan Carlos Falcón en “La caja”, among others. He currently plays the role of doctor Zabaleta in Antena3 TV series “El secreto de Puento Viejo”.
