Marta Nieto

She featured in Rodrigo Sorogoyen’s short film, “Madre”, the most awarded this season (Biznaga for Best Actress at the Malaga Festival, award for best performance at the Short Film Week in Madrid). On TV, she featured in “El ministerio del tiempo”, “Mar de plástico” and “Cuéntame cómo pasó”, among other popular series. She started in cinema with “El camino de los ingleses”, directed by actor Antonio Banderas. She worked with Sorogoyen for the first time in “8 Citas”. She then filmed “La cripta”, by Pablo Ibáñez, “Combustión”, by Daniel Calparsoro, and “La Despedida”, by Álvaro Díaz Lorenzo. She has had one award after another for her work, and she has had thorough acting training, alongside Will Keen, Juan Carlos Corazza, Bernard Hiller and Mariano Barroso. She graduated from the Higher Education Drama School in Murcia and she’s a yoga teacher.
