Cristina Castaño

Lugo, 1978. She has featured in two of the most watched Spanish TV series: “Cuerpo de élite” (currently being broadcast) and “La que se avecina”. She also took part in “El Comisario”, “Hospital Central”, “Siete Vidas” and “Al salir de clase”, among others. She trained with Juan Carlos Corazza, Fernando Piernas and Augusto Fernández. She had her debut in a feature film under the director José Luis García, in “Divinas palabras”, an adaptation of Valle-Inclán’s novel, featuring Ana Belén, Imanol Arias and Francisco Rabal. She co-starred alongside Alexandra Jiménez and Victoria Abril in “Nacida para ganar”. Her two latest films for the big screen have been “Sin filtro”, by Santiago Segura, and “Bajo el mismo techo”, by

Juana Macías. She has also acted in numerous short films since her career started up until now: “Criminal Go 2059”, by Isabel Coixet, and “La trampa estesia”, by Eduardo Chapero-Jackson, among others. She has been a solo artist in several concerts of musician Carlos Nuñez.
